Psalm 150
How to thank God
It’s going to get loud
1Thank the LORD. [1]Praise the LORD in Jerusalem’s Temple.
Praise him in his heavenly home.
2Thank him for his awesome work.
Praise him for how awesome he is.
3Trumpets, thank him.
Strings of harp and lyre, thank him.
4Dance to thank him.
Shake those tambourines and thank him.
Strum those strings and thank him.
Flutes, you should thank him, too.
5Thank him, cymbals.
Louder, please. Resounding thanks it is.
6If you’ve got breath
Use it now
And praise the LORD:
“Thank you kindly, LORD.”
